Before you book, we strongly recommend that you read the Essential Trip Information to ensure that you understand the itinerary, style and physical demands of the trip you are undertaking.

Itinerary and Quotation Validity

All information in this itinerary is accurate to the best of our knowledge but please note that changes to our trips can and do occur. This may be due to our effort to improve our trip or logistical reasons such as changes in train/flight schedules or government policies. We will make every effort to keep you informed of any changes, but cannot be held liable for any alterations made to the published itineraries.

The prices listed are based on the costs and exchange rates current at the time of enquiry. Prices are not guaranteed until booking.

Rates & Payment

All prices are quoted in Chinese Yuan(CNY).

The rates are inclusive of taxes but not gratuity. If you feel would like to provide a gratuity and this is at your own personal discretion.

We accept payment by bank transfer, Western Union, Money Gram and Paypal.

Travel Documents

You must carry a valid passport (valid for six months beyond the duration of the trip) and have obtained the appropriate visas while travelling with us. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas for your holiday. We cannot accept responsibility if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct visa documentation. We will assist you in obtaining the appropriate passes required for traveling to sensitive areas in China (e.g. Tibet), but this is not always guaranteed. In the case that an application is rejected by government agencies, we reserve the right to cancel the trip.You must carry a valid passport (valid for six months beyond the duration of the trip) and have obtained the appropriate visas while travelling with us. When traveling to China, you must carry the same travel documents as the copies you have provided to us.

Modifications, Cancellations by travelers & Refund

Cancellations are only accepted by either email(inqiury@privatechinatrip.com) or phone (+86 10 6833 9409).

IN case of cancelling a tour:
(a) 15 days or more prior to departure: no cancellation fee (b) 14 to 7 days before your tour starts: 10% of the tour price
(c) 6 to 0 days before your tour starts: 20% of the tour price


Cancellation fees charged by third-party service providers (such as airlines, rail companies, cruise company, hotels, restaurants and banks) will be itemized within 24 hours of receiving your notice of cancellation.

Cancellation by us

We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or receive a full refund.

We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.

MEDICAL, HEALTH, AND INSURANCE

Travelers have the responsibility to select a trip appropriate to their abilities and interests. We are also happy to discuss the trip with you. Travelers are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the trip.

Travelers are voluntarily participating on the tour or expedition with knowledge that travel to the foreign countries and/or remote areas visited by this trip involves numerous risks and dangers including, but not limited to; force majeure, civil unrest, terrorism; roads, trails, hotels, vehicles, boats or other means of conveyance which are not operated or maintained at standards common of developed countries; high altitude; accident or illness without access to means of rapid evacuation or availability of medical supplies; the adequacy of medical attention once provided;

We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance that covers all applicable dates of travel with us in your home country.

Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal injury and emergency medical expenses. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects. 

You acknowledge that insurance coverage is not included in the cost of any tour offered by us. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient coverage and will be at your own risk if you fail to do so.

Photos and marketing

By participating in a trip organized by PrivateChinaTrip, you consent to us using images of you taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose.  You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.

Please inform us at the commencement of the trip, if you prefer that your image not to be used.

Force Majeure

PrivateChinaTrip and its affiliates are not responsible for acts of God, acts of Mother Nature and/or circumstances that are beyond our control; including but not limited to traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, flight delays, weather delays etc.
